I encourage most people to consider drafting their own resumes, and then getting expert help to refine it, as I do in this Resume Review. Why? Because resume writing is a lot like working out at the gym to build muscles...when you first work out, lifting weights or running on the treadmill may seem hard--but the more you do it, the stronger your muscles get, and the easier it gets. Especially if you have a professional trainer to coach you on the right ways to do it. The same is true for resumes--the more you do it, the easier it gets!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

***Keep in mind, this is not a resume writing service--I do not write your resume for you. I review it, make specific recommendations, and help you revise it. If you're looking for resume writers, I can refer you to professionals that do that work.***

This is a collaborative process, and we'll work together to tackle any resume challenges you may have. Here's how we work together: 

  1. When you purchase the Resume Review, you'll be guided to book your phone session on my scheduling system. 
  2. After you schedule your appointment, I'lI email you a Resume template, worksheets and samples for your review.
  3. During our phone session we'll clarify your resume objectives + how you’d like to position yourself in relation to your goals.
  4. We'll agree on a date for you to complete a first draft of your resume, and then you'll email me a MS Word document of your "first draft" resume and specific identified opportunities you're targeting for your resume.
  5. I'll review your resume line-by-line and make revisions, edits and comments in MS Word "Track Changes" and will return this revised MS Word document as an attachment via email, with my comments by the end of two complete business days.
  6. You'll look over my comments and make the recommended changes, then send a second draft of your resume back to me as an attachment via email.
  7. I'll complete a second round of edits, suggestions and revisions to address remaining questions + to ensure that it’s targeted effectively to get results. I will send you back the second resume revision an attached MS Word document via email, within 2 business days.
